Chef and Owner Benjamin Kulikowski, born and bred in Chicago’s south side brings his “bigger than life” personality and passion for classic Chicago foods like deep dish pizza, Italian beef sandwiches and Chicago style hotdogs to Seattleites.

Benito’s opened in Ballard at 15th and 62nd in May 2012 and has just launched a new menu, adding a deep dish white pizza, three pasta dishes, two hotdogs, a sandwich and a brand new kids menu.
Highlights include:
White Pie – housemade creamy garlic sauce, chicken, spinach, mushrooms, fresh tomato and Pecorino Romano
Ballard Dog – ¼-lb all beef hot dog, cream cheese, whole grain mustard, sautéed peppers and onions
Benito’s Special Pasta – gemelli pasta with sausage, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, onions and red sauce

Four adults could easily make a meal out of sharing one of Benito’s deep dish pizzas starting at $20 for a regular and topping out at $32.50 for a large, unless you build your own. With salads and a bottle of beer or glass of wine, it’s a cozy and affordable neighborhood spot to grab lunch or dinner with friends or take the kids out without breaking the bank.

Benito’s localizes their regional Chicago dishes by using ingredients like:

Cascioppo Brothers Italian sausage in Ballard
Double R Ranch beef
Grand Central Bakery bread
Local produce, organic when possible
Organic flower for pizza dough from Fairhaven Organic Flour Mill in Bellingham
Organic plum tomatoes for sauce
