Toast America’s Birthday with Red, White and Blue Booze

Happy Birthday, America! It’s time to celebrate the patriotic way: with some red, white and blue booze. As the grills are cooking and the sun is shining, complete this Fourth of July with delicious cocktails all of your guests will enjoy. Let the Independence Day drinking begin! We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite cocktails recipes.

Maestro Dobel Tequila
Lobster rolls are a summertime favorite and the best cocktail to enjoy it with is the Maestro Dobel Black Diamond Margarita. The sweetness from Dobel’s mix of reposado, añejo and extra añejo brings out the flavor in the delicious sandwich.

Black Diamond Margarita
2 oz Dobel
0.5 oz Fresh-squeezed Lime Juice
0.5 oz Agave nectar

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks or margarita glass.

1800 Tequila
You can’t have a summer barbeque without grilled corn. Give this Fourth of July flair some flavor by adding some queso fresco (Mexican cheese), lime juice and cayenne pepper. When the flavor starts to kick in, enjoy a Blue Lagoon Margarita with 1800 Tequila – 100% blue agave tequila. Mexico is famous for their queso and tequila, so why not enjoy them together?

Blue Lagoon Margarita
1.5 oz 1800 Tequila
0.75 oz Blue Curacao
0.5 oz Pineapple Juice
Splash Lemon-Lime soda
Splash of Lime Juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks or margarita glass.

Reyka Vodka
For the vegetarian at your party, grill up some vegetables. If the veggies happen to be farm fresh, then the best cocktail to sip on would be no other than the Reyka Punch. Since Reyka Vodka is made with glacial water and distilled through lava rocks, your meal will be all-natural!

Reyka Punchchrome
1 bottle Reyka Vodka
1.5 cups Watermelon Juice
1 cup Pineapple Juice
1 cup Lime Juice
5 Mint leaves

Combine ingredients in a punch bowl or pitcher with large ice and stir.

Sailor Jerry
Fourth of July is all about grilling and where there’s a grill, there are hamburgers. Lemonade is always a refreshing choice of drink to pair with burgers, but we recommend spiking it with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum for a smooth, no-nonsense cocktail.

Backyard Lemonade
2 oz Sailor Jerry
4 oz Fresh Lemonade
Lime wedge

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.

Monkey Shoulder
Every July 4th party has one guest who makes the red, white and blue flag cake that is always super sweet. To take away the sweetness, enjoy a Monkey Shoulder Jam Sour and indulge.

Monkey Jam Sour
1.5 oz Monkey Shoulder
0.5 oz Sugar syrup
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Soda Water
2 tsp Jam
Dash of Orange Bitters

Combine ingredients except the soda water in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a tall glass and top with soda water.
