SEATTLE, October 20, 2015 — The lofty mezzanine in the heart of Chophouse Row is now open! The Chop Shop team is excited to be able to host private parties on their beautiful mezzanine.

Complete with a big communal table, cozy vintage furniture, warm lighting, and a view of the kitchen and dining room below, the space is available to book for a private event any day or night of the week.

 
The space can hold up to 25 guests and is great for all kinds of celebrations, from elegant dinners and cocktail soirées to sweet sixteen parties and lunchtime gatherings—even for cheering on the Seahawks over Sunday brunch. Yes, the mezzanine is set up with a projection screen, so the space is also great for workday presentations, showing off a slideshow, or watching a game.

Opened in July of 2015, Chop Shop Cafe & Bar is the anchor tenant of Chophouse Row, a mixed-use building situated in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood at 1424 11th Avenue. The restaurant comes from local chef Ericka Burke, owner of the beloved Volunteer Park Cafe and Canal Market. Chop Shop caters to neighborhood locals and visitors alike with a seasonal dinner menu full of bright flavors and a European-style breakfast bar and a lunch menu comprised of salads and sandwiches. Chop Shop is open Mondaythrough Friday from 11am – 3pm for lunch, followed by the Best Hour from 3pm – 5:30pm daily. Dinner is daily from 5:30pm – 11pm. Chop Shop Juice & Provisions is the casual sibling spot to Chop Shop Cafe & Bar, located at 1424 11th Avenue in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
