GREET THE SEASON WITH MOHAI THIS SATURDAY, NOV. 28

Build your own gingerbread house, listen to music, and catch the launch of the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival at Lake Union Park – Greet the Season, Nov. 28, 10 am – 8 pm.

Ditch the shopping crowds and spend time with friends and family while celebrating the holiday season! Greet the Season at Lake Union Park where MOHAI, The Center for Wooden Boats, and the Historic Ships Wharf will have festive music, family-friendly crafts, and other activities throughout day. In the evening, catch the launch of the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival!

WHEN: November 28, 10 am – 8 pm
WHERE: Museum of History & Industry
860 Terry Avenue, Seattle

DETAILS: Following is a schedule of activities and programs:

10 am – 5 pm: Regular admission to the museum.
5 pm – 8 pm: Free admission to the Grand Atrium at MOHAI (galleries closed); photo booth, crafts, hot cider & cookies.
10 am – 6 pm: Decorate holiday cards for sailors who are away from home, presented by Puget Sound Maritime in partnership with Catholic Seafarers’ Center.
11 am – 7 pm: Gingerbread House Making, $15 per house kit, while supplies last.
11 am, 1 and 3 pm: Evergreen City Ballet, The Nutcracker
6 pm: Holiday concert with Miss Rose and Her Rhythm Percolators.

Explore the sights and sounds of The Legacy of Seattle Hip-Hop on view at MOHAI through May 1, 2016. Experience Seattle’s thriving Hip-Hop culture with audio recordings, photography and graffiti, artifacts, and more.
