Beach Boys, Blues Traveler and Joan Jett coming to Snoqualmie Casino

SEATTLE (April 1, 2013) – Snoqualmie Casino announces its summer line up with legendary musicians and Grammy Award winning artists. All of the summer performances will be performed at the outdoor Mountain View Plaza with expansive views of Snoqualmie Valley and the Cascades. The venue features a beer garden, full bar and BBQ selling a variety of food options and free parking. The 2,300 seat plaza also has VIP boxes with dedicated attendants.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and ticketmaster.com. All shows are 21 and up. In addition to celebrated performances in the outdoor Mountain View Plaza and 11,000 square foot Ballroom, Snoqualmie Casino boasts six restaurants, lounges and bars and 52,000 square feet of gaming space to experience the best of Vegas less than 30 minutes from downtown Seattle. Eric Burdon: The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be kicking off the summer concerts at Snoqualmie Casino hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the top 100 voices of all time.

Bill Engvall: One of the original members of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, comedian Bill Engvall is known for his causal humor and “Here’s Your Sign” bit.
When: Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 7 p.m.
Kenny Loggins: This legendary singer-songwriter of the adult contemporary genre has been creating hit songs and platinum albums for four decades. Known for soft rock and his contributions to classic movie soundtracks like “Caddyshack” and “Top Gun,” his top tracks include “We are the World,” “Danger Zone” and “For the First Time.”
When: Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 7 p.m.
Frankie Valli: Known for his powerful falsetto voice, Frankie Valli led The Four Seasons during the 1960s. This summer he’s bringing light-hearted hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls’ Don’t Cry” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” to the Mountain View Plaza.

Dwight Yoakum: This singer-songwriter brings his unique brand of country music and considerable accolades, including a Grammy for “Ain’t That Lonely Yet.” In 2007 Yoakum received the CMA’s International Touring Artist Award and has sold over 25 million records.

Roger Hodgson: The voice of Supertramp brings his classic hits “Give A Little Bit” and “Dreamer” to the Mountain View Plaza.

Whitesnake: British rock band bring decades of great hits such as ‘Is this Love’ and “Here I go again” to the Mountain View Plaza

Robert Cray: This Blues Hall of Fame member got his start opening for Eric Clapton and is known for his talent on the guitar and signature track, “Phone Booth.”

Tower of Power/Average White Band: Tower of Power, an R&B band that has been performing for over 40 years joins AWB (Average White Band) a funk-based group from Scotland. Tower of Power, is known for their powerful horn section and AWB brings their chart-topping anthem “Pick Up the Pieces.”
When: Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 7 p.m.
Toast of the Cascades with Bob James/David Sanborn: Enjoy an evening with jazz keyboardist Bob James and saxophonist David Sanborn as they perform their Grammy-award winning songs in front of the expansive Cascade view. The evening will also include a special wine tasting showcasing several wineries and a large selection of food.

Beach Boys: The legendary Southern California rock band brings “Good Vibrations” to the Mountain View Plaza for the ultimate summer celebration. Known for vocal harmonies and their hit album “Pet Sounds,” the Beach Boys have had more Top 40 hits than any other American rock band.
When: Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 7 p.m.
Kool and The Gang: This dynamic group, known for their hit single “Celebration,” performs a mixture of jazz, R&B, soul and funk. Kool and The Gang has sold 70 million albums worldwide, and their 1970s hit “Jungle Boogie” which was featured on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack.
When: Friday, August 30, 2013 at 7 p.m.
Teen Idols – Mickey Dolenz, David Cassidy and Peter Noone: David Cassidy, star of “The Partridge Family,” along with Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits and Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees are joining forces for a throwback musical performance that will feature hits from all three stars. As teen idols they charted 42 songs, among them were the hits “Daydream Believer,” “I Think I Love You,” and “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter.”
