The secret is out… (shhh). Madrona, a charming neighborhood located in east Seattle, now has its very own neighborhood map to help visitors explore what Seattle’s best-kept secret has to offer. Located on Lake Washington, just five minutes east of downtown and Capitol Hill, Madrona is an urban sweet spot for shopping, dining, drinking and exploring, and is easily accessible by foot, bike, bus and car.
The Madrona Neighborhood Map was lovingly created by Madrona business owners Soni Davé-Schock, proprietor of Bottlehouse, and Kate Perry, proprietor of Restaurant Bea. Soni dreamed up the idea, and the two got together to make it happen.
“It really was a collaboration of the best kind,” noted Perry. “We truly love our neighborhood and want everyone to come and explore all that it has to offer and find out just how special Madrona is! Once you stroll the Avenue, stop in to the shops, have brunch or a cup of coffee, and enjoy a glass of wine or dinner, you can tell what sort of charming community the neighborhood is.”
