Bellevue Family 4th – Thursday, July 4, 2013This celebrated tradition includes activities for the family throughout the day culminating with a spectacular fireworks display. Activities include the Bellevue Parks Fun Zone, Community Spotlight Pavilion, various food and beverage vendors, face painting, inflatable bounce house, a bungee trampoline, and much more. The Inaugural Bellevue’s Four on the 4th 4k- July 4, 2013The 4th of July may be packed with fireworks, flags and fun, but what about Fido? The inaugural Bellevue 4k run and walk for dog lovers and their furry friends begins the morning of the 4th of July in Ashwood Park and benefits the King County Humane Society. Participants can tucker out their panting pals while enjoy all the bustling city has to offer at their fingers (or paws!) when they’re done. Bellevue offers plenty of pet-friendly post-run activities such as local dog parks, outdoor seating at restaurants for lunch, and nearby hiking trails for those looking to go the extra mile. Live at Lunch – Tuesday July 9 – Thursday, September 12, 2013Enjoy live concerts at various downtown locations during lunch. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday over ten weeks, thirty bands perform at Live at Lunch, downtown Bellevue’s most popular summertime concert series. The concerts take place from noon-1:30 p.m. Targeted to appeal to downtown Bellevue’s residents, visitors and workforce; the concerts feature some of the Puget Sound’s most popular bands. Fashion Week – Wednesday, September 25 – Sunday, September 29, 2013
Fall’s fashion trends are set to hit the Northwest once again during Bellevue Fashion Week, now in its eighth year, at the Bellevue Collection in partnership with Vogue. This week-long experience goes day-to-night with runway shows, chic parties, special appearances, stylish in-store events, happy hours and irresistible shopping opportunities. Of particular interest, The Independent Designer Runway Show will showcase eleven local fashion designers on Wednesday, September 25th. One of the designers, Erin Roby, is launching her first one-piece line in September – right in line with the runway show timing.
