BELLEVUE: Paddle Boarding Takes Off at the Enatai Beach Boathouse

Paddle boarders hit Lake Washington with new equipment from Cascade Canoe and Kayak

New this summer, Cascade Canoe and Kayak will now also offer stand up paddle board rentals departing from boathouse at Enatai Beach Park, on the eastern shore of Lake Washington. Paddle out on beautiful Lake Washington to see waterfront parks and homes, with views of Mount Rainier and the regional hills. The Mercer Slough Nature Park canal is the most popular destination from Enatai. The canal is limited to human-powered watercraft, making for a very peaceful experience. The area also offers views of great blue herons, green herons, bald eagles, jays, beavers, muskrats, wild iris, water lilies, and (if you time your visit right) tasty blackberries.
