New Cocktails, Crab and Wine at Monsoon East

Sibling chefs Sophie and Eric Banh are excited to announce they have brought back the ever-popular Crab Feast to Monsoon East. They are also going to be offering 30% off bottles of wine two days a week and launching a new cocktail menu Wednesday!

Friday and Saturday nights are home to a killer deal—Monsoon East’s Crab Feast, a whole two-pound Dungeness crab for $30. Sautéed in the wok, the crab is available with four different preparations; the classic Saigon Salt and Pepper (served with a mango and papaya salad), Singapore-style Yellow Curry, Scallion and Ginger, and with a Tamarind sauce. That is a lot of crab goodness and a fun way to spend date night!

Sunday, July 28 marks the start of a fantastic opportunity to explore Monsoon East’s exceptional wine list. EverySunday and Monday guests can enjoy 30% off all full bottles of wine from Banh’s award-winning wine list. This deal runs all day—the perfect excuse to get a bottle of bubbly with brunch or start dinner with one!

Celebrated bar manager Jon Christiansen has developed an exciting new cocktail menu for Monsoon East that is launching this Wednesday. Look for innovative combinations that have become Christiansen’s calling card.

Opened in late 2008 by sibling chef duo Sophie and Eric Banh, Monsoon East is the elegant sister restaurant to the original Monsoon located on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. Modern Vietnamese cuisine made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients is the star at this stylish eastside location too – and the larger space allows for an Ocean Bar showcasing local oysters and seafood, private dining, and an inviting lounge area with full bar.
