FROST Doughnuts Opens Expanded Whimsical Dessert Lounge



FROST
has been a favorite destination for doughnut aficionados since 2009.

The famous tagline, Doughnuts Evolved, describes the uniquely sophisticated, yet traditional doughnuts created by FROST’s owners, Del Hernandez, Daniel Sterling and Paul Goetz. This term can now been applied to its newly expanded location, where the popular doughnut shop has evolved into an upscale dessert lounge, complete with cupcakes, soft serve frozen custard, full service coffee bar with custom FROST roast and, of course, lots more doughnuts!

“As part of FROST’s Signature Flavors, we’ve combined quality ingredients to create our artisan Gianduja and Mexican Vanilla frozen custard – served in a Cannoli cone, of course,” said Del Hernandez, managing partner/culinary director at FROST. “Our chef’s exclusive French macarons and summery galettes will pair perfectly with local wines hand-selected by FROST, and skilled baristas at our full-service espresso station will craft lattes in traditional and lactose-free options. There’s truly something for everyone!”

Doors open on Friday May 30th at 6:00 am at the new location, with double the space and a delicious gourmet dessert menu to enjoy, which includes 12 rotating cupcake flavors, such as Cherry Limeade, Lemon Meringue, Crème Brûlée, plus Gluten Free options such as German Chocolate Cake.

The Official Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Friday May 30th kicks off at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with special guests and sparkling wine provided by Treveri Cellars. This event is open to the public. We’d love to see you there as well.

FROST will select ten semi-finalist entries that will be featured online. Voting by the public will determine which 3 finalists’ creations will be offered during National Doughnut Day Celebration on June 6th. Guests will vote for their favorite at the store too, and the winning flavor will join FROST’s delicious line of doughnuts. The designer of the winning entry will also receive a $100 FROST Gift Card! FROST’s 5th Annual Doughnut Eating Contest
In honor of National Doughnut Day on June 6th, and in conjunction with their grand re-opening FROST, presents its 5th Annual Doughnut Eating Contest, where contestants can win a $100 FROST Gift Card! Always a fun and exciting event, this year there will be three age categories (6-12 years; 13-17 years, 18+) with a winner chosen for each category.
