Beat Breaks & Pancakes at RockCreek

The RockCreek gang is excited to announce their monthly hip-hop brunches in 2015! The boisterous brunches will be held on the last Sunday of every month, and include a live local DJ and awesome MC-inspired dishes.

Chef Eric Donnelly gets a chance to combine old school hip-hop and stellar food in his brunch specials, which is basically his dream come true. Here’s a few he’s come up with so far:

NWA—pancakes with Nutella, walnuts, and crème anglaise
Southern Playalistic—fried chicken with jalapeno corn cakes
Biggie Smalls—short stack with braised bacon and sunny side up eggs
Funky Homosapien—pancakes with Bananas Foster and candied walnuts
MC Solar (reppin’ France!) —Mornay sauce, ham, onions, and poached eggs
Public Enemy #1—ham, turkey, Swiss, raspberry jam, and pancakes

Plus, drink specials:

Brass Monkey—crushed orange, ice, lime, and lager
Gin & Juice—gin…and juice, orange and grapefruit Ricky
Purple Drank—vodka and ‘purple’ bubbles
Beer & A Shot—Montucky Cold Snacks beer & O.G.D. shot

The jammin’ brunches take place during regular brunch hours—9am to 3pm. DJ Ethan Anderson (AKA: Easy E) spins tunes, making for a rowdy morning full of pancakes and beat breaks that’s not to be missed!
