Anthony’s Restaurants Plans to Open in Coeur d’Alene June of 2016

Family owned and operated Anthony’s Restaurants, based in Kirkland, Washington, plans to open its first location in Idaho the summer of 2016. Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene is set to begin construction August 2015 in the Riverstone mixed use development along the Spokane River, with a tentative opening in June 2016.

Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene is a 6,125 square foot dinner house that will seat 150 people indoors and will also have a 4,200 square foot partially covered exterior patio. An open display kitchen and a cast concrete fireplace will flank the dining room. The dining areas will have access to the exterior decks and spectacular views of Riverstone Pond. The architect for the restaurant is Monte Miller of Miller Stauffer Architects of Coeur d’Alene who says, “The inspiration for the design includes a subtle response to the site’s sawmill history with extensive use of exposed structural wood systems”. The interior designers are McVey Oakley Design, who most recently designed Anthony’s Beach Café on Spokane’s South Hill. The building contractor is Yost Mooney Pugh, who also worked on Anthony’s Beach Café in Spokane. Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene will serve lunch and dinner and anticipates employing 80 people.
