Where to eat during your visit for the US Open at Chambers Bay

The 2015 U.S. OPEN Championship is finally here at Chambers Bay in University Place. After many years of anticipation, locals can finally experience tour golf again in Washington. The last major championship hosted in Washington State was at Sahalee Country Club for the PGA Championship back in 1998 where Vijay Singh clinched the title.

This year’s championship will give guests an incredible selection of local food that showcase a touch of the northwest flavor such as sandwiches and soups from Ruth Chris, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches from Chambers Grill, some various seafood options and hot dogs. Like any large sporting event, expect to pay a slight premium for the food and drinks. The USGA and Chambers Bay organizers have done a remarkable job building concession stands throughout the golf course to keep guests hydrated and well fed because as you know, this course isn’t just any walk in the park.
