Celebrate with Wallingford Center as it turns 30 this July! The shopping and dining destination, located at 1815 N 45th St., Seattle, will host an all-ages, schoolhouse-themed birthday party on Saturday, July 18 from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Guests receiving more than three As can enter to win $50-$100 Wallingford Center gift cards. Eight or more stamps earns a chance at the Honor Student grand prize – a $250 shopping spree at Wallingford Center. Receive Extra Credit stamps at various other locations throughout the center, such as snapping a Polaroid with Wallingford Center’s mascot, April the Dog, or visiting the pop-up gallery.
The schedule is as follows:
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Enjoy live music by The Wiretappers, an acoustic string band from the Seattle area. They’ll kick off an hour-long set with a Happy Birthday tune, accompanied by complimentary mini birthday cake cupcakes from Trophy Cupcakes (while supplies last).
2:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Study Hour – Use this free time to shop the sales, enjoy event experiences and get the report card graded.
4:30 – 6 p.m. – Celebrate a successful school year with a Champagne reception (sparkling cider for the kids) at Chutney’s Indian Bistro with live belly dancers. Report Card prizes will be drawn at 5:30 p.m.

From 1-3 p.m., earn an extra stamp by snapping a Polaroid with April the Dog, Wallingford Center’s mascot. April will start off in 211 near the live music and roam from there.
