International Truffle Expo Launches in Washington State

WOODINVILLE, WA, July 22, 2016 — The International Truffle Expo will be held on November 18-20, 2016 in Woodinville, WA. Hosted by Truffle Dog Company and led by founders Alana McGee and Kristin Rosenbach, this expo will pioneer the truffle industry in Washington.

The event is designed to cultivate and nurture the wild/native truffle industry through education, community and respect for all life. There will be seminars, cooking classes, dinners and dog forays. The International Truffle Expo is a celebration of the edible fungi that offers luxury with a charming adventure and aromatic food experience. The Pacific Northwest is amecca for the truffle industry providing a perfect backdrop for bringing awareness to this unique food and wine arena.

With various areas of the world, such as Australia, Napa Valley and Oregon, hosting truffle festivals, this expo brings light to a local industry that is thriving. International Truffle Expo has partnered with Columbia Winery, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery and The Herbfarm to host several events throughout the weekend including a Truffle Business Seminar, foraging trips, an all day marketplace expo, a nine course dinner with AAA Five Diamond rated restaurant with Chef Chris Weber and truffle cooking demonstrations.
