Chef brings Asian fare with a Northwest twist to Water’s Table in Renton

Water’s Table at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington offers guests an extraordinary lakeside experience on the southside of Seattle. The restaurant is the only full-service waterfront restaurant and bar on the southern end of Lake Washington.

The signature restaurant Water’s Table is led by  who is responsible for kitchen operations at the 236-seat Water’s Table working under the leadership of Executive Chef Vincent Savignano.

The menu is influenced by Michael Demeule’s nine-month backpacking trip to Asia where he visited Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. He was able to experience first hand what each asian culture offered in terms of cooking methods, spices, and raw ingredients that made very distinguishable dishes. As you will see on the menu at Water’s Table, it’s like traveling through Asia as you go through the menu. Demeule’s focus on Asian flavors is matched with locally sourced ingredients to give guests a northwest flare to the dishes.

A sample of the Fall-Winter 2017 Brunch Menu include: Confit Duck Fried Rice (Carrot, Flowering Broccoli, Sunny Egg, Crackling Salt), Water’s Table Ramen (Pork Belly, Soft Egg, Mushroom, Tofu, Seaweed, Ninja Radish, Double Chicken Broth), Gebber’s Farm Grassfed Burger (Melted Onion, Tomato, Lettuce, Bacon Aioli, Gruyere Cream Ale Bun, Seattle Pickle Co. Half Dill), Braised Shortrib Mac & Cheese (Kalbi Style Braised Beef, Korean Radish, Heirloom Carrot, Rigatoni Beecher’s Cheddar, Point Reyes Toma), Ling Cod (Farro, Chinese Sausage, Kabocha Squash Purée, Radish).

Water’s Table is perfect for those looking for a beautiful place to enjoy with family, date night, and groups overlooking unprecedented views of Lake Washington while enjoying Asian fare around the world.
