Russell Wilson and Alex Rodriquez have partnered with local entrepreneurs Scott Swerland and Taryn Naidu to bring TruFusion studios to Washington state. The ownership group plans on opening 10+ locations across Washington over the next couple of years, introducing residents to the innovative group fitness and yoga brand that is rapidly expanding across the U.S.
The first Washington location will open at 500 Bellevue Way NE in Bellevue, WA at Lincoln Square South in early 2019. There are plans to open two additional locations in the Seattle area in Summer, 2019. The 10,000+ sq. ft. venues will feature a unique blend of yoga, circuits, Pilates, kettlebell, barre, bootcamp, boxing, TRX and other classes, allowing members to customize their experience based on their interests and fitness level.
Russell Wilson says, “Mind, body and soul are the ingredients for success. I’ve always believed in making health and fitness a priority in life, as well as opening your mind to positive and limitless thoughts. This studio inspires you to put in the work to achieve your goals.”
Says major TruFusion investor, former New York Yankee, and regular TruFusion member Alex Rodriguez: “I only take group classes. That’s the one thing that makes it special and unique. Everyone is encouraging you. There’s really a community atmosphere where everyone is working together.”
“Every TruFusion I’ve been to has a powerful community and I knew right away I wanted to bring this to Washington,” says Washington co-founder Taryn Naidu. “We have assembled an unmatched ownership group which also includes other top CEOs and Executives right here in Washington. We are bringing the future of group fitness to our state, for casual athletes and elite athletes alike.”
Working to attract and retain the best talent in the fitness industry, TruFusion Washington locations will be offering substantial benefits to trainers. Co-Founder Scott Swerland says, “We want to treat our people right from the very start. We want our TruFusion instructors to feel like respected professionals. Washington has been home all my life and I’m motivated to serve this community. We are changing the fitness game.”
Prior to launch in Bellevue, TruFusion will offer a $120/month rate for the life of the membership limited to the first 1200 members before returning to their $179 retail price. Visit www.TruFusion.com for additional details.
In addition to sports stars Wilson and Rodriguez, TruFusion is being brought to Washington by an ownership group which is led by investor/entrepreneur Taryn Naidu, the former CEO of Rightside Group, which he sold in 2017; and Scott Swerland, successful entrepreneur who runs a portfolio of 90+ retail locations that includes Urban Float and Seattle Sun Tan Group.
