New Opening: Neighborhood Café in Tukwila, adds Filipino flare

Notable dishes include House-made Longanisa, a coffee flight, and a Filipino Brunch Menu

Having recently opened inside Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in February of 2023, Neighborhood Bubble Tea & Coffee will be expanding their reach – and menu in south King County.

This new concept, Neighborhood Café is a delicious mix of a traditional American brunch – with a Filipino touch.  Don’t get it twisted though – they’re not just relying on the delicious flavors of the Philippines, their international crew plans to mix in flavors from Vietnam, Japan, and other Asian countries.

In-house longanisa made with ground pork and a secret blend of seasonings, is a major highlight of the menu.  It’s featured with house made Ube Biscuits with Longanisa Gravyand the “Silog” Plate with eggs, and garlic fried rice.  A Lechon Burrito (fried pork belly made from scratch) and chopped cheese sandwich round out the food offerings.

Neighborhood Café will have a select menu of signature bubble teas that include a Leche Flan Milk Tea and Turon Turon Milk Tea with black tea, jackfruit, banana syrup, and brown sugar.  A favorite is the Biko Pandan – a drinkable version of the dessert, buko pandan – made with toasted brown sugar and topped with their delicious pandan cream.

Fulcrum Coffee Roasters will provide all coffee, espresso, and cold brew to the shop.  Signature espresso drinks include a black sesame latte topped with black sesame cream, and a house-brewed Vietnamese iced coffee.

There’s plenty of sweets here too, from Banana Bread French toast to Mini Pancakes topped with pandan cream, and local favorite, Laina’s Handcrafted Ice Cream.

Neighborhood Bubble Tea & Coffee will be open seven days a week, from 8am to 5pm. You can find the shop in Tukwila at 17165 Southcenter Parkway.
