On October 5, 2025, Seattle’s culinary community will come together for an unforgettable evening at The Westin Seattle—the 33rd Annual FareStart Gala. This sold-out celebration will showcase an exclusive multi-course menu curated by some of the region’s most innovative chefs, each bringing their signature style and seasonal inspiration to the table.

Table Bread | Curated by Ben Campbell, Ben’s Bread
A warm welcome from the oven: an artful assortment of house-baked loaves, rolls, and crisp crackers, handcrafted by Ben Campbell of the beloved Ben’s Bread.
First Course | Chef Johnny Courtney, Atoma
A vibrant heirloom tomato salad layered with tomato vinaigrette, silky tomato aioli, torn croutons, and fresh basil—a summery, savory celebration of peak produce. (V, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free options available)
Second Course | Chef Victor Steinbrueck, Local Tide
Butternut curry herb salad featuring curry puree, Asian pear, crisp cucumber, mixed herbs, fried shallots, and peanuts, finished with a Thai chili lime dressing. A bold balance of sweetness, spice, and texture. (Contains nuts, Vegetarian, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free)
Entrée Selections | Chef Francis Ward, The Westin Seattle
- Beef Tenderloin
Served with fondant potatoes, squash puree, maitake mushrooms, charred onions, and port wine jus. (Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free) - Steelhead
Paired with braised cabbage, carrot puree, poached new potatoes, and a dill-caper butter sauce. (Gluten-Free) - Roasted Miso Cauliflower Steak
Accompanied by ginger carrot puree, broccoli, and turmeric curry sauce—a bold plant-based main. (Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free)
Dessert | Chef Grayson Pilar, MariPili Tapas Bar
A modern take on the Spanish classic: Tarta de la Abuela featuring layers of chocolate sponge cake, cookie butter ganache, tiramisu cream, and lemon curd. (Gluten-Free version available)
