November 29th: Small Business Saturday at Chophouse Row 

Each year, sandwiched on the calendar between the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a warmer, gentler shopping holiday known as Small Business Saturday. Customers around the country are encouraged to “shop small” and spend dollars at local shops, cafes, restaurants, and service providers.  This could not come at a more critical time for Seattle, where small businesses across the city have been buffeted by a myriad of external economic factors and public safety challenges. Chophouse Row provides an opportunity support an array of local family-owned businesses when they need it most.

December 11th: “Shop The Chop” 2025 Gift Guide and Shopping Event

The Chophouse Row 2025 Gift Guide features gift ideas from 22 of its retailers and restaurants, offering a broad range of options including apparel, homewares, and wellness experiences. “Shop The Chop” comes to life December 11th from 4-8pm, a festive holiday shopping event with one-night-only discounts and promotions along with pop-up vendors, hot beverages, holiday decoration making, and plenty of festive cheer. Guests can find the perfect gift, explore the 2025 Holiday Gift Guide in real life, and enjoy the magic of shopping local.

Wanting to book a private event space for your holiday or post-holiday celebration? The Osteria La Spiga Mezzanine, the Cloud Room Lounge, Gemini Room and the Good Weather events space each offer a unique vibe and a delightful food and beverage experience. Valet parking services can be arranged upon request.

La Dispensa announces new delivery partnership with locally owned Feast Gophe

La Dispensa, the catering and take-home sister to Osteria La Spiga has announced a new partnership with Feast Gopher, a local black-owned business offering professional delivery for food and catering. Feast Gopher will deliver La Dispensa’s party catering, family meals, and pantry items Monday – Saturday for a flat fee of $20 to customers within seven miles of Osteria La Spiga (expanding soon). Orders for an Italian-themed family holiday meal can be placed online.

Light Sleeper Announces New Chef Ashley Morford-Haines

Ashley Morford-Haines of Windward Adventures’ will join the Light Sleeper team this week as chef. Ashley’s impressive resume includes previous stints at Chez Panisse, the Herbfarm, the Corson Building, Eden Hill and L’Oursin. “Ashley will carry forward our existing format adding her own personal recipes and stories, and will expand the menu to include the cozy autumn and winter deliciousness that is perfectly roasted chicken, hella crispy french fries, and more” said co-owner Ezra Wicks. Light Sleeper will also continue to feature noteworthy local culinary teams during its Sunday-Tuesday popups.

Colibri Mexican Kitchenis an all-hands-on-deck family enterprise providing amazing Mexican cuisine in a gorgeously authentic wood-and-concrete space. They serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, with take-out items that take just minutes to prepare. “We’re a cozy new spot serving up bold, flavorful Mexican food made with love and fresh ingredients,” said co-owner Celeste Bakr. “From rich mole and tender carne asada to refreshing mezcal cocktails, everything we make is inspired by food back home. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch to go or settling in for dinner with friends, Colibrí is all about warm vibes, good company and food that feels like home — all at prices that make it easy to come back again and again. The fourth outpost for Sugar Bakery recently opened to the public at Chophouse Row. It features French-themed baked goods, sandwiches, soups, and coffee. Customers are able to order ahead on the website for pick up or delivery. “We are so excited to open at Chophouse Row, “said Co-owner Matt Walton. “It’s such a friendly neighborhood and the locals have been so amazingly supportive, coming in daily to tell us how great the space feels. As we ramp up production, customers will have a direct window into our baking process.”
