Have you ever had bacon beer? If you’re like us, you’ll probably eat anything with bacon… whether it’s bacon salt or a big slab on a burger. This past weekend, during the Super Bowl, we were introduced to a new beer by Voodoo Doughnuts and Rogue, called the Bacon Maple Brown Ale.
The Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Brown Ale is a combination of two of the finest creations on this earth: Rogue Ales and Bacon. This unique concoction is made up of 13 ingredients (ingredients below) that give it that one-of-a-kind candied bacon ale taste. The creation was inspired by Voodoo’s original bacon and maple syrup doughnut that is raved by customers in most of Portland. The beer is bottled in a 750ml painted bottle, contains no chemicals, additives, or preservatives and has a 30 IBU 5.6% ABV. 22oz spec level.
13 Ingredients:
Briess Cherrywood Smoked Malt, Weyermann Beechwood Smoked Malt, House-smoked Hickory Malt, Great Western 2 Row, Munich, C15, C75 Malts; Applewood-Smoked Bacon, Pure Maple Flavoring, Rogue Micro Hopyard Revolution & Independent Hops, Free Range Coastal Water & Pacman Yeast
