Chef Kyl Hasselbauer and Anchovies & Olives are putting on another divine Festa dei Sette Pesci this year. The traditional Christmas Eve meal will be held one day early, on Tuesday, December 23.
Festa dei Sette Pesci, the Feast of the Seven Fishes, is a long-standing tradition of eating seafood on Christmas Eve that’s believed to begun in Southern Italy, but is now an adopted tradition the world over in families both Italian and otherwise.

Primi:
Blue Pool Oysters on the half shell
with blood orange
Hamachi Crudo with vanilla parsnip, grapefruit, and pine nut
Fried Baby Octopus with
mint, Controne chili, and vinegar
Steamed Manila Clams
with guanciale, fennel, and tomato
Pasta:
Bigoli with anchovy, chili, garlic, mint, and pangrattato
Linguini with uni butter, roasted leeks, and chili
Entrée:
Whole Grilled Branzino with spaghetti squash, pomegranate, and lemon
Dessert:
Praline Profiteroles with hazelnut brittle
