Things to Do:  Waterfront Paint & Sip Classes at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington

Seattle’s Southport, Washington – Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport, an upscale resort-style hotel situated on the shore of Lake Washington, announces a schedule of paint & sip classes led by popular local artist Jonarra Swanson of NARR Artwork.

“We are excited to offer a creative and fun way for our guests and locals to unwind with our paint & sip classes,” said Dana McKenzie, assistant director of marketing at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. “With our beautiful lakefront location and a relaxed atmosphere, guests can enjoy delicious wine and unleash their creativity, with professional instruction in a relaxed and comfortable setting.”

The hotel will host the events monthly with the following schedule:

  • Saturday, May 10
  • Saturday, June 14
  • Friday, July 11
  • Saturday, August 23

The May paint & sip class will be a special tribute to mom and include candle pouring with Noir Lux Candle Bar. Guests will leave with a beautiful piece of art, a delicious smelling candle and amazing memories. This event will be hosted in the hotel’s indoor space with views of the lake. Instructors and all required materials are included in the experience with food and beverage options available for purchase. 

June, July and August classes will take place at the hotel’s dock & drink restaurant, a casual lakeside restaurant located on the picturesque first-level boardwalk of the hotel.
