4th Annual Project Red Dress hits the stage


Red is the color that evokes passion, fire, and love. Project Red Dress is Seattle’s annual fashion event to inspire, create, challenge, and generate awareness and raise money for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and the student winner with of Project Red Dress with a scholarship . Friday, February 3, 2012  marks the forth annual Project Red Dress

Established by Monir Zandghoreishi, local designer and International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT-Seattle) fashion design program chair, is offering 12 local up-and-coming fashion design students a chance to show the world what they’re made of in the form of a fabulous red dress. Taking its cue from TV’s Project Runway, each of the twelve contestant’s create their vision in red. The event culminates with a gala fashion show at the Spanish Ballroom  the Fairmont Olympic HotelLocal celebrity, will judge one of a kind red gowns all designed by  12 local fashion designers. .

Performance by the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Produced by Monir Zandghoreishi and Directed by the Metropolitan Fashion Week under the direction of Eduardo Khawam will deliver the most exquisite night of class and style at the timeless Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
