Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge Announces Immersive Dining Series and New Menus For Fall 2022

Acclaimed Restaurant Pairs Pacific Northwest Cuisine with Classical Music and Breathtaking Views

LOTTE HOTEL SEATTLE announced today that Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge will introduce a three-part, music-inspired dinner series debuting Fall 2022.  The culinary team, in partnership with a local string quartet, will curate an immersive dining experience in symphony with live classical music. Helmed by Executive Sous Chef Jeffrey Hunter, the Charlotte Restaurant culinary team has dazzled guests with special prix-fixe menus that have become core to their locally-sourced and seasonal approach to contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine and this musical series is the latest expression of their magnificent creative talents.

“Approaching menu development through classical music is inspiring and we’re excited to create a truly magical and romantic atmosphere for each unique dinner in the series,” said Cherry Tsui, Director of Food and Beverage at LOTTE HOTEL SEATTLE. “It will immerse all of the senses as guests taste the flavors of Fall while listening to the musical progression of the meal and take in stunning views of Elliott Bay and Downtown Seattle alongside the oceans and mountains.”

The series will open on October 7th with “Midnight in Paris,” where Chef Hunter and his team will present their interpretations of signature dishes from some of the most notable French chefs. The string quartet will begin a whimsical exploration of impressionistic classical music, French gypsy jazz and the legendary Edith Piaf as diners taste original dishes inspired by the likes of Alain Ducasse, Joel Robuchon and Daniel Boulud. From Caviar with Crab & Fennel and Torchon & Brioche to Tuna Tartare and a crescendo of Salmon & Sorel, there is a wistfulness and sense of nostalgia accompanying an explosion of flavors throughout the four-course menu.

A South American-inspired menu on November 18th will be a lively tribute to Astor Piazzolla, Argentinian composer of Latin and jazz. The immersive series will culminate with “Fishermen of the Sea” on Friday December 8th, an homage to Seattle’s bountiful seafood and Nordic classical music. The cost is $175 per person and reservations for each date are for a 5:00 PM cocktail hour followed by a 6:00 PM dinner seating.

Also in October, Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge will once again offer a “Pink” menu in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Limited-time items include a Love for Lotte cocktail, Sparkling Rose, spirit-free Cool Ribbon Refresher, Boozy Chocolate Tasting and a Box of Raspberry Rose Macarons. At the end of the month, 50% of proceeds will be donated to Northwest Hope & Healing, a local charity that provides direct financial assistance and signature “Healing Boxes” to local women newly diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer at all Swedish Cancer Institute campuses.

Beginning on September 6, Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge will also introduce a new menu featuring a “Chef’s Seasonal Prix Fixe Menu” along with seasonal a-la-carte menu options, including Pork Terrine with bacon, apricot and huckleberry, Tomato Custard with baby zucchini, marcona almond and pickled tapioca, and Troll-Caught King Salmon with ladkes, labnah, wax bean and green chermoula. The restaurant has earned a reputation for being a celebratory spot for locals and hotel guests alike, inspiring the culinary team to create a dynamic menu perfect for occasions big and small. The cost for the upcoming Chef’s 4-course Menu is $150 per person and requires full table participation. To view the current menu on offer, visit www.charlotterestaurantseattle.com/menu
