McDonald’s is satisfying cravings around the world, no matter the moment, with the introduction of the new ‘90s-inspired Throwback Collection available by ordering McDelivery on July 19
On July 19, McDonald’s is celebrating fun, food and convenience around the world by bringing back Global McDelivery Day. This year on Global McDelivery Day, McDonald’s is transforming every day, routine moments into fun and delicious moments. McDonald’s knows that right now, there’s nothing more fun than 1990s nostalgia, so this year, we’re introducing the Throwback Collection – a set of fun T-shirts, bandanas, pins, socks and PopSockets featuring designs inspired by the ‘90s.
Take a look at the throwback jean jacket below, the quality is impressive and super fun. This isn’t the first time McDonalds has offered these one-of-a-kind products. If you remember, McDonalds gave our branded McDonald’s blankets, onesies and hats. McDonalds has really upped their game over the last few years with fresh beef, improved chicken tenders and introducing delivery.
Seattle Global McDelivery Day begins at 11 a.m. local time across more than 20 markets around the world with McDonald’s delivering fun, exclusive ‘90s Throwback Collection items to those that order McDelivery using the Uber Eats app while supplies last.
“As a McDonald’s Owner Operator, I am excited to bring delicious, feel good moments to my customers each and every day. Global McDelivery day allows us to celebrate these moments at the same time, across the world.” Says David Santillanes, Seattle-area McDonald’s Owner Operator.
After decades of delivery success in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, McDonald’s and Uber Eats began piloting McDelivery with 200 restaurants in January of 2017. One year later, McDelivery is available in nearly 12,000 restaurants around the world through Uber Eats and various delivery partners, giving our guests the craveable, delicious McDonald’s food they love when they can’t get to us.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating the continued growth of our Uber Eats’ partnership with McDonald’s on Global McDelivery Day right here in Seattle and throughout the Northwest. We’re able to leverage our speed and technology to make it even easier for McDonald’s customers to enjoy a delicious and convenient dining experience, wherever they are.” says Nathan Hambley, UberEATS Communications Manager.
