Chophouse Row announces new Poprox Dance Studio, Vietnamese Restaurant Opening, and Good Weather Bicycle & Cafe Vinyl Series

Chophouse Row is excited to announce several new openings, food offerings, and merchant events.

POPROX DANCE STUDIO

PopRox Dance has launched their second Seattle studio, alongside a brand-new retail concept, in the courtyard level of the Piston & Ring building. PopRox now offers Hip Hop, Jazz Funk and K-Pop classes for adults and kids alike.

Since 2018, PopRox has welcomed students of all ages, skills, and bodies helping them shake off inhibitions and embrace the dance floor. Founders Kinsey Flores and Cathy Barnett have disrupted the old dance school model by encouraging student engagement and collaboration, fostering a strong sense of a diverse community, and bringing pure FUN back to dance.

“We are so excited to be bringing PopRox Dance to Chophouse Row,” shared co-owners Kinsey Flores and Cathy Barnett. “We have both lived on the Hill for over a decade, have a deep connection with the community, and are invested in the evolution of this neighborhood. Opening our second studio in Seattle’s most vibrant neighborhood is very meaningful to us.”

The studio will have a large focus on classes for adults, with eventual plans of serving alcohol. The retail and reception area features dance and athletic themed clothing and merchandise as well as fun, giftable items that represent the values PopRox stands for – connection, inclusion, and pure joy. Customers can browse a range of products centered on themes including throwback and current musical icons, gender identity, body positivity, and empowerment. Photo Link.

Highlights of the menu, besides traditional pho and bahn mi selections, are Xom’s chicken wings and pork stuffed prawns. Open for both lunch and dinner, Xom provides a new anchor in a long line of Chophouse Row culinary destinations including Light Sleeper, Plum Bistro, La Dispensa, Osteria La Spiga, and Bai Tong.
