Where to Party and Dine on New Year’s Eve

Looking for that special place to savor the last moments of 2013 and start 2014 off right? Don’t worry, there’s still time to secure your spot at one of the many celebrations around Seattle. Here are some places around the city where you can ring in the New Year—no matter what your style. Get your reservations in ASAP!

Christmas Eve at CRUSH
For last minute Christmas Eve dining, Crush is offering a special 7-course menu for $88 per person. It features some of Chef Jason Wilson’s signature dishes with celebratory additions, including the Hamachi Crudo, Wagyu Beef Tartar and Black Pepper Duck. See the full menu. Ivar’s Salmon House

Start the evening off with a seafood buffet dinner, including the Salmon House’s signature alder grilled salmon. At midnight, sip champagne as you enjoy a waterfront view of the Space Needle Fireworks from across Lake Union.

Bastille
Is your favorite part of New Year’s the champagne? Just for the occasion, Bastille will be offering four different champagne flights, comparing vintage, grape variety, region, and producer size. Bonus: head across Ballard Ave to sister restaurant Stoneburner for four more flights.

Radiator Whiskey
Forget the hors d’oeuvres. The whiskey bar known for serving up the nasty bits will be offering up their famed 1/2 pig’s head along with a bottle of Prosecco.

Pike Brewing Company
Not one for champagne? Pike Brewing will be celebrating the New Year with the release of their 2013 Old Bawdy barley wine. Attendees also have the option of a prix-fixe dinner featuring rack of lamb or Alaskan king crab legs.

Bar Ferd’nand
Bar Ferd’nand is taking over Melrose Market for their second annual New Year’s Eve Bash. Get your dance on with a live DJ, and accompany your champagne with some freshly shucked oysters.

Local 360
Over in Belltown, Local 360 will be offering a three-course Chef’s menu for the evening. Start with Shigoku oysters with caviar, then a pork crown roast, followed by chocolate pot de creme. And of course, finish it all off with some champagne.

Hard Rock Cafe
If Bollywood is your thing, head to Hard Rock Cafe for their Glitter & Gold themed party with live DJs, professional photography, and champagne. Don’t forget to sport some gold attire.

New Year’s Eve at Crush
Crush will be ringing in the New Year with a decadent tasting menu featuring Sturgeon Caviar, Ahi Tuna Tartar, Slow Roasted Salmon, and Upper Dry Creek Lamb Saddle. New Year’s Eve at Miller’s Guild + New Year’s Eve Dance Party
Seattle’s new, wood-fired restaurant will be welcoming guests on New Year’s Eve! Just opened this month, Miller’s Guild will be featuring its long-awaited a la carte menu featuring heritage breed meats and 75 day dry-aged beef, Mad Hatcher Bone-in Quail and Lamb Shoulder and Belly. Wood-fired meats will run alongside Giant Pacific Octopus, Slow Roasted Wild Salmon, Roasted Cauliflower with Preserved Lemon and Castelvetrano Olives, and specials, including wood-grilled lobster and more.
