Irresistible, succulent, and very Northwest, dig into oyster mania at Anthony’s
Anthony’s Restaurants celebrates its West Coast oysters in ways only a local restaurant could with its annual March Oyster Festival. This month, featured fresh oysters carefully selected from cold, clean Pacific waters tempt, whether on the half shell, seared well, baked, fried, and even wine-paired!
Throughout the month, oyster lovers can enjoy a perfectly paired bottle of one of these selected “Oyster Wines” from Washington state. Featured wines include the Cadaretta 2013 SBS, a Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blend set to complement any oyster preparation perfectly, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s 2013 Sauvignon Blanc and the Hedges Family Estate 2013 CMS Sauvignon Blanc, the perfect companion to the briny flavor of the oysters.
Lunch (starting at $10.95) and dinner ($11.95 – $32.95) bring oyster classics and surprises. At lunch, try the Oyster Tacos, crispy seared oysters finished with salsa mayo, cabbage and roasted corn salsa wrapped in warm flour tortillas, or the Oyster Burger finished with lettuce, crisp bacon and tomato, served with French fries. At dinner, enjoy Crispy Seared or Pan Fried Oysters along with additional delicious oyster selections!
Oyster Happy Hour is available all day in the bar, including $6 oyster specials (Six-Pack Shot Glass Oyster Shooters, Oyster Slider Trio and Trio of Baked Oysters) and $6 glasses of the three-featured Oyster Wines. Are you a slurp-o-matic? Flex those skills during the Friday Night Oyster Slurp, 6 p.m. in the lounge. Each Friday in March, slurp nine freshly shucked oysters, hands-free! Prizes to the fastest “slurper” (bronze, silver and gold medals) include Anthony’s gift certificates. Weekly gold medal winners will compete Friday, March 27 to determine the Champion Slurper!
Enjoy the Oyster Festival throughout all of Anthony’s Restaurants except Anthony’s Woodfire Grill in Everett and Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill in Olympia and Bellingham.
