Summer Movie Mondays at the Triple Door

This summer, join the Triple Door as it returns to its historical roots for with the inaugural Movie Mondays series.Beginning June 24 thru August 19, guests can indulge in a movie line-up every Monday night. In true Triple Door nature the line-up includes pop culture classics all about music such as High Fidelity and The Blues Brothers to notable rock flicks Almost Famous and This Is Spinal Tap.

Tickets are only $3 and seating is general admission. Guests who pre-purchase their tickets online will also receive a drink ticket good for a draft beer, house wine or soft drink.

The series brings the celebrated Seattle music venue back to its original roots—as a historic movie theatre. The historic Mann building that now houses The Triple Door was once home to the Embassy Theatre, a vaudeville house that opened in 1926. The theatre remained one of the premier movie houses in Seattle for the next 30 years, and transformed from a blue movie theatre to a burlesque house until it closed in 1983.

Of course the music remains top priority, The Triple Door has a lineup of artists on the calendar on the calendar this summer, and it will just be Monday evenings reserved for this program.
