Ethan Stowell Opens ESR Cellar in Ballard

Ethan Stowell Restaurants has recently revamped the basement space in the Kolstrand Building offering an intimate event space and wine storage facility.

The ESR Cellar offers a full service storage facility with a variety of different sized lockers for local wine enthusiasts to rent. Members of the cellar receive monthly coupons to waive corkage fees at any of the Ethan Stowell Restaurants, and the corkage fee is also waived for any private events booked in the beautiful cellar event space. The ESR Cellar is the perfect place to hold gatherings big and small, with full plated dinners or passed appetizers prepared by the Staple & Fancy kitchen upstairs.

The wine storage facility offers five different sized storage options, and includes load-in parking, elevator access, 24-hour secure key card access, climate control, and security. The ESR Cellar also hosts quarterly meet and greet events.

As an extra added perk, those utilizing the wine storage will have a personal concierge of sorts in Sennen David, the wine director for Ethan Stowell Restaurants. David has created a wine club that offers wine storage members the opportunity to build their cellars each month with a hand-selected collection of wines based on a theme or region, complete with in-depth descriptions—and at great prices. Members will also have access to the wines on the restaurants’ wine lists, and David is happy to search out hard-to-find and must-have favorites—with delivery straight to personal wine storage lockers

ESR Cellar is owned and operated by Ethan Stowell Restaurants. They offer a full service, secure wine storage located in the Kolstrand Building. As an extension of Ethan Stowell’s Staple & Fancy restaurant, the space also has a private cellar room available for hosted gatherings and special events. All members have access to special wine buying offers via the wine club. For more information, call 206.588.0030 or visit www.esrcellar.com.
