Spring “Grower” Champagne Dinner at Daniel’s Broiler on Lake Union

The Schwartz Brothers most unforgettable opportunity this month will surely be Spring “Grower” Champagne Dinner hosted at Daniel’s Broiler on Lake Union on Wednesday, May 18 at 6 p.m. The dinner will feature a collection of champagnes from the valleys of France both grown and made by one family, from grape to glass. Daniel’s Broiler will be pouring six wines from six different producers paired with cuisine created by Chef Ayhan Barlas to showcase each wine’s distinctive taste.

Featured food pairings on the menu for the Spring “Grower” Champagne Dinner include;arancini, a crispy risotto rolled around Gruyère and Irish cheddar, prepared with Peruvian pepper purée and served with the Vesselle Brut; mini lobster tail with pepper-crusted pork belly, celery root and pork jus, paired with the Dermane-Frison “Goustan;” and mesquite grilled prime New York steak prepared with green peppercorn sauce, brown-buttered parsnips, pea vines and paired with the 2006 Lassaigne “Millesime.”
