Whether they are home, at the office, or somewhere in between, even more McDonald’s customers across the Northwest can now enjoy their favorite burgers, fries, beverages and desserts delivered right to them through UberEATS. McDonald’s is now expanding the service to restaurants in Boise, Missoula, Bozeman, Spokane, Eastern Washington, and Portland widening its availability in the Northwest.
“The expansion of McDelivery in the Northwest offers McDonald’s to continue to reach our guests in a meaningful and convenient way,” said Alefa Eserjose, a local Seattle McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “We are changing the way guests can enjoy their favorite meals, and we are enhancing it by offering choice and flexibility for added convenience and accessibility.”
Customers can place McDonald’s orders on the UberEATS mobile app or on UberEATS.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides and track their order, as an UberEATS delivery partner brings their meal directly to them. The full menu at participating McDonald’s restaurants will be available for delivery (with the exception of soft serve cones). An UberEATS booking fee applies to each order.
Delivery is just one way that McDonald’s is enhancing the customer experience through added convenience. McDonald’s continues to transform its restaurants through the addition of self-order kiosks, table service and digital menu boards, and will roll out mobile order and pay across its 14,000 U.S. restaurants later this year.
With over two decades of delivery experience, with the most developed markets being Asia and the Middle East, McDonald’s is already one of the largest delivery players in the world.
Across the world, McDonald’s utilizes several different models for McDelivery including partnering with various third parties for order and delivery fulfillment. McDelivery is currently available from more than 7,800 restaurants in 47 countries.
