Six-Course Wine Dinner Featuring Chris Figgins at Eden Hill 1/15

Eden Hill is getting an early start on events in the new year with a special wine dinner featuring Chris Figgins from Figgins Family Wine Estates (Leonetti background). The upcoming dinner in January will feature six decadent courses from Chef Maximillian Petty and specially curated wine pairings from industry-expert, Chris Figgins. Full details are included below.

Six-course Wine Dinner with Chris Figgins

On January 15, Eden Hill is hosting winemaker Chris Figgins from Figgins Family Wine Estates (FFWE) in Walla Walla for an extravagant Six-Course Wine Dinner. Alongside Chef Maximillian Petty, Chris will share his wine knowledge and his passion for sustainable farming. Figgins Family Wine Estates specializes in red-blends and Rieslings that pair well with rich, hearty winter dishes.

President and winemaking director for Figgins Family Wine Estates, Chris succeeds his parents, Gary and Nancy Figgins, who founded Leonetti Cellar in 1977 – the oldest winery in Walla Walla. Chris grew up in the wine business, which inspired him to earn a degree is horticulture from Washington State University. After graduating in 1996, he officially joined Leonetti, where he was instrumental in transforming the company into an estate grown winery. He oversees all operations and winemaking, as well as presides over all viticulture operations for FFWE. The estate includes six distinct vineyard sites in the Walla Walla Valley AVA and one in the Chehalem Mountains AVA of the Willamette Valley. Chris is well known industry-wide for consistently pushing the envelope viticulturally. More recently, he has launched his own project, Toil Oregon, which is dedicated to producing Pinot Noir.

Join Eden Hill for an alluring six-course dinner with exquisite wine pairings thoughtfully curated by Chris Figgins to complement Chef Maximillian Petty’s innovative and tempting menu. Dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. and is priced at $210 per person (includes wine pairings). Reservations are extremely limited and are required.
