A can’t-miss event for lovers of Washington wines, the weekend includes the Winemaker Picnic & Barrel Auction held on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, exclusive and intimate Winemaker Dinners hosted at renowned private estates around the Puget Sound, and the grand Gala also held at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.
Private Barrel Auction: Thursday, August 15 at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery, Woodinville
Now in its fifth year, the Private Barrel Auction is open by invitation only to national and local members of the wine trade. This Auction will kick off the weekend with 47 auction lots, including 43 exclusive five-case wine lots from the state’s top winemakers.
Winemaker Picnic & Barrel Auction: Thursday, August 15 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, Woodinville
$150 per person (early bird pricing available before July 1)
The Winemaker Picnic & Barrel Auction, held on the grounds of the legendary Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, offers attendees the opportunity to taste over 100 wines, oftentimes poured by the winemakers themselves. Taste barrel samples and enjoy pairings from exceptional local restaurants, to be announced soon. The Barrel Auction gives winning bidders the chance to secure a case of a future release wine before it becomes available anywhere else. A Silent Auction offers a number of unique wine packages and experiences.
Winemaker Dinners: Friday, August 16 at various private estates across the Puget Sound

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening in a breathtaking private home. Dinners are conceived, prepared and served by award-winning local chefs and paired with some of the finest Washington wines. Information is available on the website.
The Gala: Saturday, August 17 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, Woodinville

The grand finale of the weekend, the Gala was named among 2018’s top three charitable wine auctions in the country by Wine Spectator Magazine. The soiree begins with an arrival party and Social Hour on the lawn of Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. Following, guests head into the tent and enjoy a multicourse gourmet dinner served by some of Seattle’s favorite chefs. Menu, wines and live auction offerings benefitting Seattle Children’s and Washington State University Wine Science Research to be announced soon.
