Summertime brings out the mixologists in many of us! Summer barbecues, late night suppers and cocktails to create and enjoy. Elliott’s Oyster House offers perfect summer cocktails on the menu, and Beverage Manager Scott Diaz has crafted a delicious cocktail to re-create at home.

Elliott’s Oyster House Pomp & Circumstance

  • 1 ¼ oz. Grey Goose La Poire Vodka
  • ¾ oz. Aperol
  • ½ oz. broVo Spirits Ginger Liqueur
  • ¼ oz. Simple Syrup
  • ¾ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

Combine with ice, shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Why Pomp & Circumstance?

Scott Diaz named it based on the notion that in the craft cocktail world, vodka (especially flavored) has fallen out of favor with many enthusiasts and serious mixologists. This drink offers a fresh, balanced, yet “serious” cocktail, requiring a little more “pomp & circumstance” to create.

The cocktail is also available to enjoy at Elliott’s Oyster House for $11.
