Nordo re-opens venue for Bloody Delicious! A dinner in Hallowonderland

October 20, 2020 (Seattle, WA) – For those that are yearning to leave the homestead for an evening of Halloween fun, Nordo presents an exclusive, extremely limited, and socially distanced dine-in experience at its Pioneer Square venues titled Bloody Delicious: A Dinner in Hallowonderland. Reservations are available now for dinner on October 23 – 31, 2020.
Per Covid-19 restrictions, this special event will not feature performance or live music, but instead focuses on your plate with a creative prix fixe menu from Chef Erin Brindley. “This meal is a chance to make it all about the food, for me to experiment with challenging ingredients like black Silkie Bantam chicken, and uni,” said Brindley. “These delicacies are impossible to integrate into a menu that needs to be produced for our usual 2,000 guests. But for this? A sinister Halloween dinner for very few people where the food is the star? My imagination gets to run wild. I’m going for a spine-tingling presentation and delicious flavors. And the setting is completely magical.”
MENU: “The menu will be tickled with tasty bits along the way,” teases Brindley. The three main courses include housemade fettuccine with uni butter and black lime caviar, Silkie Bantam black chicken and roasted pepper coq au vin with fingerling potatoes, and tres leches with sherry pomegranate molasses and pomegranate arils for dessert. Vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request.

Groups of two-to-six people can reserve tables in the immersive Alice and Wonderland inspired set crafted for Nordo’s postponed “Curiouser and Curiouser”. The four dining rooms separate diners from contact with one another and the themed art installations placed in each room, such as “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” and “Wonderland Menagerie” are perfect for those who wish to expand their mask into a full costume for Halloween.
Not wanting to dine in? No problem! Nordo has designed a zero-contact interactive evening of Halloween fun that’s billed as part escape room and part treasure chest wrapped in a ghost story and served with a cocktail kit and cake. Room Service: Do Not Disturb is on sale now.
