8 Oz. Burger Bar opens in Capitol Hill, Seattle

CAPITOL HILL – 8 Oz. Burger Bar, an original creation of Chef Govind Armstrong brings his famous California style to Capitol Hill eatery using only the best ingredients available.  The new restaurant seek out the finest local ingredients and use only the best purveyors of humanely raised and natural meats. Everything in our kitchen, from the house cured bacon to the homemade dill pickles are prepared with skill and care as they promise to deliver the highest quality food and drinks at affordable prices, in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Signature burgers are made with the finest quality blend of humanely raised, hormone-free Black Angus sirloin.  All of the burgers over a wood burning grill, giving them an incredible flavor that is all our own.  The Estancia grass-fed beef, free-range turkey burger, and homemade veggie burgers can be customized to your liking with a long list of seasonal, house-made toppings.  Not to be forgotten, the menu offers several seasonal salads, sandwiches, and sides that you will be craving for. 

Some favorites include: short rib grilled cheese sandwich with onion marmaelade, and bel paese cheese that Oprah included on her “The Things We Love” episode.

Namesake burger  “The 8 Oz.,” – Half-pound blend of sirloin, tri-tip, short rib, and chuck, along with iceberg lettuce, pickles, tomato, white onion, and the house special sauce.

Happy Hour: Monday thru Saturday from 4 to 6 pm and 9 pm to 12 am.  $2 drinks and small plates starting at $2,$4,$6,$8.
