Chef and Restaurateur Josh Henderson has turned up the heat on his next venture called Burbs Burgers, which focuses on the American classic, Cheeseburgers. Simple, yet refined techniques to deliver the perfect smash burger. In a short period, Burbs Burgers has established two locations: Montlake Terrace and Pioneer Square.
Josh Henderson is no stranger to the restaurant scene. With over 20 years under his belt, his company Huxley Wallace Collective has a track record of opening popular Seattle restaurants that include Skillet Street Food and Diner, which was the preeminent food truck that started the whole food truck scene back in 2012. Then followed up by a number of successful brands like Westward, Quality Athletics, Great State Burgers, Hollywood Tavern and Kiki Ramen.
Burgers are our thing, but from time to time, we’ll do some other fun items that are seasonal as well as delicious. They might be a bit different than what you’d expect at a typical “burger joint”, but we love classic American cuisine, and will be doing our take on that and we hope you enjoy! – Josh Henderson
Burbs Burgers has a killer price point starting at only $4 for a ‘burbs classic’, make it a double for only an additional $2.50. The ‘burbs special’ is priced at $4.50 and it comes with a special sauce that’s super craveable. Besides burgers, guests can order a fried chicken sandwich, hot dog, chicken nuggets, shakes and fries. Simple American classics but with a chef spin to it.
What makes these burgers so irresistible are the crispy edges that are formed when you smash the beef and the oils fry the edges, combine that with American cheese, special sauce, and a buttered up sesame bun to create a masterfully done burger.
